Her photo on the Spar billboard got the attention of NRI director Raj Pippala who was looking for a heroine for his movie, and that covered the way for her acting career. She told that she had initially no plans of becoming an actress and that it was only because of her mother’s encouragement that she considered it seriously.
She has acted in several movies like her Telugu debut movie Boni, Teen Maar, her Kannada debut movie Chiru, Mr. Nokkaya, and Prem Adda.
